More About Project
The Net Zero Carbon Nepal project, supported by The Green Shifts European Union (EU), aims to promote the circulation of plastic waste among the regions of Madhesh, Lumbini and Bagmati provinces. The project focuses on finding innovative solutions for plastic waste collection by mobilizing sanitation workers and sustainable product design and packaging. The project will be implemented for a period of four years with the active participation of sanitation workers, women and marginalized groups, youth groups, students, small and medium enterprises, local, provincial and federal government bodies and civil society. The project envisages various activities to help formulate policies of the local, provincial and federal governments. These activities are intended to convert Liner economy into circular economy. The project implementation is being led by NGO Creation CREASION through consortium partners Restless Development Nepal and Youth Innovation Lab (YI-Lab).
